Exciting news, building on the success of THE4POINTS Easter Campaign, UCB and Alpha have pledged their support for next year! The hope is to extend the campaign to other towns and cities and to encourage all participating churches to follow up their Easter events and services with an Alpha course at the end of April 2026. Mark Oakes, Managing Director at UCB said, “This is an amazing opportunity for the gospel, we’d love to see THE4POINTS Easter Campaign happening in other parts of the country next year.” Anna Watson, who heads up Alpha in the North of England, commented, “We are thrilled to be part of next year's Easter Campaign, it feels like God is doing something exciting in our nation.” Originally designed to explain the Bible in four points to inner city kids in Liverpool, the4points logo is now being used for missions by Churches and ministries in countries all over the world. Earlier this year, over hundred Churches from across the Mersey Region and the City of Sheffield worked together to promote the gospel and the date of Easter Sunday on the side of 85 buses! During the month of mission well over 100,000 prayer cards were distributed in schools, places of work, prisons, even outside Anfield stadium, where red and blue prayer cards were given out to fans attending the Merseyside Derby. One steward even helped by putting them into all the match day programmes! One of the reasons for the success of this year’s campaign was the focus on training. Dave Sharples, one of the founding Directors of THE4POINTS, explained, “So far this year we’ve manage to train over thousand people to share their faith. It has been so encouraging to hear story after story from people young and old, who are now confidently starting gospel conversations. One lad from Liverpool, who attended the training, emailed his headmaster to ask if he could do an Easter presentation at his school. Amazingly he was given 20 minutes to explain the gospel to every year group in the school and he subsequently gave away 800 prayer cards and wristbands! Another young man from the Wirral attended the training, then two weeks later was using the same training with over 100 young people in Bolton! And this got us thinking, maybe God wants us to start training the trainers, so that’s exactly what we’re going to do!” Following the success of the training events earlier this year, there will now be a special Trainers Event happening on Saturday 22nd November from 2-4pm at Frontline Church in Wavertree, Liverpool. The training will be given free of charge, but places are limited, so people will need to reserve their place. The vision is to train and equip people to then run local training events in February 2026 in the run up to next year’s Easter Campaign. Thanks for your prayers and support.
